I tend to be an easy-going type of person, and take a fairly philosophical approach to life. I am also compassionate and caring, and I believe in being a gentleman.
I enjoy learning about science and the natural world, and I am an avid reader. I mostly enjoy mystery novels. I enjoy watching movies, as well, mostly mystery/suspense, but I also enjoy comedy and other genres. I enjoy listening to most types of music. I grew up with pets most of my life, and love animals, although I don't currently have a pet.
I was born with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus, but I don't let my disability stop me from enjoying life. Rather, I have found that living with a physical disability has given me a different perspective on life and has shaped my attitude and my approach to life.
I am very close with my family, and although my parents are divorced I am very close with both of them, and my step-parents and extended family. I put more value in having close ties with my family, and having a few close friends than I do in having lots of fancy stuff.
I have travelled quite a bit. I have been to England, Mexico, Cuba, Costa Rica, Ukraine and the Philippines, and several US states - some countries I have returned to multiple times.
