My name is Adam, and I picked up and moved to Amsterdam in order to pursue a life of awesomeness.
The only problem is that not knowing anyone comes with the package... Totally worth it, though.
I'm just looking for some chill people to get to know here. I'm up for anything; parks, cafes, adventuring, infiltrating the Dutch mafia... You know, whatever. I'm amused by the smallest things, so don't you worry about me! ;D
As for myself, I'm originally from Orlando, Florida (after moving all over as a kid), but I'm now a dutch expat seeking political asylum from Obama's impending apocalypse!
Lol not really.. seriously though, I moved to Amsterdam with dreams of starting a business to set up a wireless city-center internet infrastructure. In a nutshell, I sold everything I owned, found investors, and picked up and left the country. It's been a month in Amsterdam so far, and I love it more and more every day... No regrets whatsoever! =D
I would love to start meeting people, though. I've met a few amazing people in the short time I've been here, so I figure this country must be full of them! =p I've got a lot of interests, hobbies, and crazy "things" about my being (wtf?), but I'm not an open book at all at first, so I hope you like to chat! =)
