If we could liken online dating to a mall we have the supplement stores for the guys who are always at the gym, the suit stores for the really classy guys, the sports shops for.... and some others who have left to get drunk and watch the game. You would find me in some kind of an eccentric novelty shop.
I am sure that everyone finds that it is tricky attempting to develop their window display. If I say I am looking for long term some may think I am desperate, if I say I am looking for “dating” some may think that I fear long term. I would say that I enjoy meeting new people even if it doesn't lead to a script for a romantic movie….. but if it did that would be great (-: Argh it doesn't give that option in the drop down menu.
I have a deep seated drive towards understanding people, and this world we live in. I am a guy but not a typical one and I enjoy being somewhat of a mystery. I find that every person I meet has some interesting stories and insights into this crazy thing we call life. Life is ”not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get up.” I enjoy activities and meaningful relationships. I can have a great time going out and listening to some live music, dancing or curling up under a blanket and watching something on the tele. I have been known to play tennis and ride a bike but watching sports puts me to sleep. I have a day job but occasionally get gigs with my band, personality wise I am more like the edge, and less like Slash… you may at times wonder about my hair lol.
I am somewhat like Steve Carrel of “Dan in real life” except perhaps my prose may be lacking in favor of my dancing. I am a single dad of two wonderful girls, my oldest daughter just moved out and my youngest (15) has quite a few friends so I have some time to share.
