I'm originally from the US (Boston) but am living in Switzerland (after spending a couple years living in Sydney, Australia), working back and forth in Amsterdam. I hate traveling (kidding, obviously). Starting with the boring - I am a lawyer. More interestingly, I have degrees in Physical Therapy and Special Education (although I obviously sold my soul for greed). And yes, I clearly liked university summer vacations - way too much to stop studying. I hike, ski downhill and cross-country (both not well), bike, train Aikido (well, I did for 20 years but not so much here). I love to travel. Really love to travel! And I'm always up for a good party. As you can tell, I am on the go and have a lot of energy, so it will take a special person to keep up with me (and slow me down). And if I haven't won your heart yet, my mother says I'm special and a great catch, and we all know moms don't lie!
And here's a random list of life goals that I'll probably never accomplish (and yes, I came up with this long before the movie The Bucket List):
- Write a screenplay (damn, I should have written The Bucket List based on my original list)
- Climb Mt Olympus
- Write a symphony (to be clear, I don't even yet play an instrument)
- Read the Count of Monte Cristo in French (let's just say my piano is better than my French)
- Do a triathlon (will be done for sure next year)
- Read Don Quixote in Spanish (not so far away from that)
- Have a family
- Write a book about anything, just write the damn thing
- Make the lives of 137 people much better than they would have been without knowing me
