I am a 41 year old dad of two teenage girls...17 and 14. Not to mention the proud dad of a 1 year old black lab. They are all great kids. ( only the lab lives with me though). I am very active, both with work and with personal time, but I have time to give to a relationship. I feel that you have to make time for what's important. I am a DJ and also the lead singer for a Ct. based band. These types of jobs come with some odd hours sometimes, but also leaves me more free time than most jobs. I am financially independent and stable...I don't need someone to pay my bills and I don't want to pay anyone elses.
In my free time I enjoy working out (though I am not a gym rat), I enjoy taking my dog to the park or down to the water to swim, riding my motorcycle (great escape), I like movies, going out to dinner, good conversation and I love to laugh and making people laugh. We all need more laughter in our lives.
I like live music, though I am not a club type person. I would rather go to an outdoor concert than to a club. The nightclub scene is completely out for me. I am a fun person, but I am not looking for a " Party Girl". I enjoy water fires in Providence, coffee shops, or just a walk on the beach or in the woods.
RESPECT...That is THE biggest thing to me. I always give it and only ask for it in return. I am an old fashioned type of person. I was raised to open doors and pull out chairs, etc.
I am looking for a person that is outgoing, open to new things, and fun. She should be open and honest, and able to communicate what she is thinking and feeling. I am a communicator...I will always tell you how I feel (good or bad), what I am thinking, etc. I don't keep much inside...It does no good there.
