I'm so mature that I wish I was a little less so, and I'm looking for a lady who would also like to do crazy, immature things from time to time, maybe on paper to start with. I did write a profile piece that I thought might amuse the sort of woman I'm looking for but the robots detected that it wasn't conventional writing, so it got rejected. I thought it gave a pretty accurate idea of who I am and what I'm looking for. Luckily, I was able to keep a copy, so, if you'd like to see it, just email me.
In brief, I don't have a great deal of time left on this earth so I want to make the most of it and that, in my book, includes contact virtual or physical, with the fascinating, delightful and mysterious world of Eve and all her descendants. Oh, that sounds a bit pompous, doesn't it? The tone isn't right either. Let me put in a couple of quotes from my earlier effort, the one that got rejected. (It took the form of half of the alphabet, an adjective for each letter and then a comment about it.)
F for Financial. I manage to get by but I'm certainly not rolling in dough. G for GSOH which I think means good sense of humour which in turn means, as I understand it, someone who is never violent nor moody, who is tolerant of others' shortcomings because none of us is perfect, who smiles often and frowns very rarely, whose glass is half full, who looks for and finds the best in people, etc. H for humourous. Yes, but witty is probably a more noticeable characteristic. G for good. I'm good at cooking, with children, under pressure, in bed, at my job but not at being on time, on the dance floor, remembering names and many other things.
M is for Male. Yes, definitely so. I love to fix things but not tidy things away; I can listen most of the time but if I'm chasing an idea round in my mind, I won't really hear what you say; I can do only one thing at a time; I'm confident but I make mistakes; I want to solve the problem not talk about it; Anniversary? What anniversary? Yes, I know they're old and they look terrible on, but I like them and they're comfortable.
Your turn.
