I would like to get to know someone with a good heart who cares about putting friendship first. I do value taking the time to build a relationship; there is no short cut to getting to know someone. I like to smile and laugh so someone who has a fun dynamic personality is a must. I do not play games and value honesty I only want to know someone who doesn't lie and play with someone's emotions that really understands what they are looking for and has the time to commit to getting to know someone and wants to communicate and share good times with someone who shares their values and interests. I enjoy being active, going out, hiking, sports, dining, movies, dinner theater, concerts. I also enjoy spending time in too it does not always have to be about going out.
My personality is light-hearted I am an independent thinker who likes the dynamic of a committed relationship, one where the chemistry, along with the desire to get to know each other, are mutual. Free-flowing communication is the key. I am comfortable in my own skin, the outer package changes, but I believe the heart stays the same. In spite of my great sense of humor and easy-going personality, I can also be pretty intense. I like to think that together, they make for a good combination. My goal is not to merely date. I want a mutually satisfying committed relationship. A few characteristics that I have and would appreciate in someone else is being attentive, caring, self motivated, and has a direction that they are headed for in life (I am a big one on always following your dreams). Not all about themselves but realize that there are 2 people in a relationship. I am a single parent so I am working to be a good father to my 15 year old son. I am optimistic and hope to find a good friend and a lasting relationship. I am optimistic outgoing, I usually have a good smile on my face. I like books like Charles Dickens Great Expectations that kids can read ( I was 11 when I first read it) and adults too. I read all the Harry Potter books first because some people said oh kids should not read these books (My son wanted to read them) than because I enjoyed reading them. I like books with great character development (Lonesome Dove) and a good story. Movies I like everything from Ben Hur, The Sound of Music, West Side Story to Pixar Up I think was a very good movie. Music I like pop Simon and Garfunkel, America, Billy Joel, other music Green Day, Blink 182, the Goo Goo Dolls, Sound Garden, The Plain white T's, I like a wide range of music.. Food I enjoy most food.
