I am Osama Mahmood, a sophomore year student majoring in Mathematics and Economics. I am deeply passionate about Mathematics as a subject and I plan to study more in Applied Mathematics particularly, Stochastic Analysis and its applications in Finance. Additionally, I have Economics as a second major because I feel that it is crucial to have a commendable deal of practical knowledge to be able to make use of and apply one's quantitative skills. Once I complete my undergraduate studies in 2018, I plan to pursue doctorate studies in Finance, Applied Mathematics or Operations Research.

Outside academics, I am excited about travelling to other countries and learning about the cultures and lifestyles I have been unexposed to. So far I have been to seven countries including Bulgaria, Turkey, Colombia, Maldives and Sri Lanka and I hope to travel to as many countries as possible. I love teaching Mathematics and in the section of "Mathematics" you can find a lot of content that I've prepared to help fellow students out. I have completed several summer internships with banking and accountancy sectors and you can find out more about my work experience in the "Internships" section.
