I am not looking for a casual friend, or another stop along the road. I want a serious committed relationship with someone who will be there and work hard WITH me at making a wonderful life together.

I understand that relationships are not always 50/50 but there's no reason both people can't do their part to love and respect each other as equals.

I like to work and earn my own money. I'm very independent and good at managing a household.

I'm not always the greatest house keeper, but it helps if I have a dishwasher.

I like to cook at home if I have time but sometimes I tend to grab quick bites on the run when life is in the fast lane.

If children are in the mix I prefer to be a stay at home parent but only until they are in school. Then I would work hours that they'd be in school.

I really need someone who is honest and hard working. I need someone to be straight forward and even blunt with me about things. Even if i wont like it, it's better to talk about it and work through it then to ignore it or lie. So communication is very important to me.

I DON'T want someone who cheats, manipulates, lies, steals or hurts me or anyone else for whatever reason.

I don't do drugs, and I rarely drink. Having drinks every once and while is fine but not an every day thing. Being drunk DOES NOT excuse your actions.
