I am a graduate. I love to travel and I have a particular passion for Italia and italian culture,although I like Europe in general. I'm also interested in the USA and I have family there. I got the 'bug' after travelling through Italy - I was engaged to an Italian national (from Rome) - hence the connection. My aspiration is to become fluent in another language and to experience living in another culture - maybe. I'm a creative person and I love all the arts - including world cinema. I have an eclectic taste in music but I would probably describe myself as a bit of a rock chick Having said that I have had the privilege of enjoying a small touring opera in a local town hall in Venice at Christmas time - it was magical. I enjoy the usual wining and dining, but I'm equally happy to sit back with good coffee and contemplate life! I have a great circle of family and friends, but a one to one would be good with an interesting and interested man. We don't have to like everything the same - different is good too - otherwise life would be boring.I don't like lewd or rude people. I'm a very compassionate woman and when I commit - I commit. I have a great sense of humour and a love of the ridiculous - an ability to laugh at yourself is an added advantage. I am very young at heart. Oh yes - and I'm a football fan (Liverpool). Actually I like sport in general, although lack of ability relegates me to spectator status, but I try to keep fit. The great Muhammad Ali said, "If a man sill sees life at 60 the way he did at 30, he's wasted the last 30 years of his life." Other than that I adhere to the 'fara bella figura.'
