I have just moved to North Vancouver from Montreal. I am an artist currently doing some glass blowing designs, but my passion is sculpture. I have been in a long term relationship but we both decided it was time to move on, no regrets. Except I am in a new city and would like to have friends to do the things i like. I like trying new restaurants, attending sports events, and exploring the beautiful outdoors and surrounding area of Vancouver. I hike, bike or make a wonderful navigator. I love to travel and have extensively done so in the eastern states. Now I would like to see the our North and the American west coast and interior. I would someday like to travel to South America, Australia and Europe. Africa is on the top of my list. Alas, I love shoes too. I have a bit of a sarcastic sense of humor and like every woman likes a man who makes her laugh. I like brains over beauty there fore drawn to older men. (Not Anna Nicole type) but at least 10 to 15 yrs older to me. However age is a number, intelligence is not necessarily defined by it. I amrather experimental sexually and cannot believe how many Van women, although looking good in work out clothes (which seem to be how to dress during the day)forget about heel, garters, nylons and other style. I look darn good in €lululemon, but love to glam it up. THe flip side of me spends a lot of time at home, alone. An artist needs that and does not enjoy the bar scene much. Don't dance, except in my chair and oh maybe a lap dance for my boyfriend in private. A Soccer match or hockey game is another matter. LOVE it. Music is the only other passion I have. All music, all thru the ages. Internet Radio, Classical Cd my mom left me, now on my I pod, New Age introduced to me by a very cool friend, and that 70 and 80 music my older brother let me steal from him. We had a big family...as French women tend to do and my oldest brother is almost 51. I am the baby. Love the museums, concerts and anything that makes me marvel at other people's talent. Love animals and although I do not own any we had some great dogs growing up,that were better friends than some people could ever aspire to be. Not much of a cat person, but can appreciate their aloofness and manipulation of a human. Birds are nice to look at but do not want to own one. I would love to see the animals of Africa, in their enviroment before all we have are Zoo's. I like Zoo's, but sometimes they make me sad. Depends on the day and how I perceive the animals are treated.
There you go....a piece of me to look at.
