Hi,
Thanks for checking me out. First, a word about my picture. It was taken two years ago and I look exactly the same today. And so if you find it attractive you have no reason to worry. Now on to my profile. My name is Mitch and I'm a sociologist and writer. I love what I do because it challenges me and requires a lot of creativity. In a few words, I thrive on growth. Currently, I'm finishing up a play which I've been working on for nearly two years. As you've guessed by now, I'm a high energy person but also an eternal optimist. I most always believe things can and will get better if I apply myself and I view every problem as an opportunity ... an opportunity to learn and grow! I've spent a good part of my life developing myself both outwardly and inwardly and though far from perfect, I'm calm, patient, tolerant and very self-aware. Though not a Buddhist, I'm very drawn to the religion's emphasis on compassion and loving kindness and that's how I try to conduct myself in words and deeds. When not working, here are some of the things I love to do: play sports (tennis, basketball and running); go to the gym; yoga; listen to music (I'm crazy about jazz), dance (not very good but eager to get better); hike and take delicious walks on the beach and in the country (I live in both south Florida and the Berkshires where I have a great house); play chess; participate in book clubs; go to art museums; eat out (a lot since I'm a lousy cook); go to the movies (of course!), travel (I lived in Brazil and speak Portuguese fluently) and just hang with friends. I'm a vegan but you don't have to be. I'm not religious but you can be. I'm addicted to the Knicks and you must be also! Just kidding!!! I hope your teams are faring better than mine. As I said, I'm very tolerant. But my tolerance stops with Trump who I think is a monster, the personification of an ugly human being! Another thing that is important to know about me is that I'm very playful. I'm always joking with friends, family members and even strangers The world is in turmoil but the day always goes better with a healthy injection of humor. Okay, enough about me for now. Who am I looking for? In a few words, somebody of great substance, someone who has invested a lot in their own growth and development in multiple ways. I know I'm asking for a lot but I also know there are many great women in the world who fit the bill. In an age of cynicism about relationship, I believe in it very strongly. I'm very loving, fiercely loyal and ready to do all the work required to build a deep, intimate and enduring bond. Are you ready to join me? The first step is a meaningful response which I greatly look forward to. Thanks, again, for taking the time to read my profile and whatever your reaction, the best of luck in your quest to find that special person.
