I'm grateful for life and all the little things that make you smile daily. I love a good joke or funny commercial or a childs innocent observation. I love a good true story. You'll find I seem to love to tell them too. Half of the time I am serious with bills, work, car, you know. The other half of the time I want to be happy, have fun and enjoy the company of a friend. I love to laugh.
I love Old Movies, even some silent films. TCM is my favorite channel. I like to go to Garage Sales and Estate Sales. I like novelists: Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child,Kathy Reichs, James Patterson, Patricia Cornwell. I've had cancer and I am fine now, it's been 2 years, yeah, but I feel like a patchwork quilt.But I love quilts, each one is unique and beautiful and warm, and so am I. I am honest, hardworking, fun-loving and unselfish. My daughters say I'm quirky, funny, smart, organized, neat, great cook,the best mom and adopted mom(for all their friends), caring, thoughful, independant, artistic, frugal but not cheap, interesting, they say I OWN tact, great taste in movies, strong physically and mentally, and cute. Quirky, really?
I want an honest, hardworking, fun-loving, unselfish man to share life with. No that doesn't mean I'm looking for his money, yes employment is a must, but what I want is a man that knows and shows life is about US, revolves around US and family, and should make US happy. I hope I wasn't too vague there :) Yes, my daughters forgot to add that I can be a little sarcastic. But not all the time.
I believe Lawncare and gardening needs to be shared not done alone LOL. I need someone to laugh with while struggling thru life. I can do it, I just want company, or a friend or a loved one. Are you smart and handy, oooh very very appealing.
I'm not into rock climbing, skiing, skydiving, bungee jumping, etc. If it's safe I'll consider it.Everyone tells me there is someone out there for me, where are you? I don't like cooking for one.
