"We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly." –Sam Keen
I reside in Vermont now, but I actually grew up and lived most of my life south of Boston. The way of life is quite different here that's for sure and after 7 years, I'm still trying to get used to it! I guess it's the Bostonian in me.
I usually would write a whole autobiography about myself, who I am and what I'm all about but, it doesn't seem to matter much. It would appear that people don't really care what you have to say about yourself. My guess is that they just look at a picture and move on and if that's the case, then it's too bad because you all know that you can't judge a book by it's cover. (in case anyone's forgotten.) So, I'm just going to say that I'm hoping to meet my true companion, my true best friend. There's a saying, "Love can sometimes be magic, but magic is an illusion."
Think about that for a moment. It really does make a lot of sense if you dissect it and read between the lines.
Say, can you remember the very first time in you adult life when you fell in love and when you looked over beside you in the morning and thought, I'm the luckiest person on the face of the earth? Wouldn't it be heaven to have that feeling again only instead of growing stale, it just continued to grow into something better and better with each passing year? Maybe I'm grabbing at straws but, I'd still like to believe that something that fantastic could happen in one's lifetime. Hey, we all have to dream. My guess is, I suppose that some of us just have to try a little bit harder. ~M
