I'm an attractive, single, accomplished, articulate, evolved, financially successful, highly confident and self-assured great guy. I'm integrity-driven, energetic, progressive, decisive, exceptionally creative, imaginative, intuitive, introspective, and resourceful. I am honest sometimes to a fault, reliable, and professional. I'm chivalrous, romantic, and spiritual. I love women and always treat them with dignity and respect.
I hope you will forgive my use of so many adjectives! I don't intend to sound like I'm completely full of myself or narcissistic. I'm trying only to give you an impression of who I am and what I'm about. It's not my intention to overwhelm you with how great I think I am.
Overall, I'm a very young-at-heart, 59-year old (January 3 – Capricorn), Caucasian guy in great shape, who looks and acts considerably younger than his chronological age might suggest, who is 6'1” with salt-and-pepper gray hair, brown eyes, 160 lbs., a great smile, and a terrific sense of humor. I love being funny, laughing at myself especially, and having a great time. I am easy going, affectionate, a great kisser, charming, playful, compassionate, respectful, prone to public displays of affection, open-minded, outgoing, sensual, sexy, tactile, non-judgmental, and tons of fun to be with.
I'm hoping to find a woman who has a great personality, sense of humor, and zest for life, who will share common interests and experience adventure, excitement, and unbridled passion. I'm attracted especially to women with well developed senses of self-esteem and self-worth, who know who they are and what they want.
My musical interests include classical piano (I studied for 10 years growing up, including a stint at The Juilliard School of Music in New York City in the mid-1950s. I'm originally from New Jersey.), Jazz, R&B latin Ragtime, and 1960s & 1970s Rock & Roll. My favorite composers include, among others, Chopin, Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Liszt, and Schubert, and I also love the Rolling Stones, Beatles, Led Zeppelin, the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, and far too many more to list here. As a young teenager, I studied classical piano with a fabulous classical pianist who went on to become one of the greatest Rock & Roll music producers of all time.
I enjoy physical activities including racquetball, working out in the gym, bicycling, power walking, swimming, basketball, tennis, and hiking. I also love films of all types, reading, book stores, live music venues such as the Hollywood Bowl, Disney Concert Hall, and Music Center, theatrical performances, museums, architecture, antiques, great dining, dancing, and traveling. I especially enjoy relaxing, romantic, fun filled, weekend getaways to Santa Barbara, San Diego, Palm Springs, San Francisco, and others.
In my spare time, I tutor children from elementary through college in Mathematics, English, Economics, History, Geography, and a range of other academic subjects, and I teach piano to beginning, intermediate, and advanced students. Both are personally fulfilling and rewarding, as I enjoy helping students achieve their academic potential, and I love helping piano students to develop their technique and musical repertoire.
For many years, I've had my own very successful, international private lending and investment banking business and before that, I was an executive in commercial banking in downtown LA and Beverly Hills. I'm also a successful business consultant to start-up and existing companies seeking to grow and expand. I help these companies by advising them about their strategic marketing, sales, and promotional plans, writing compelling business plans, developing financial projections, and raising private equity/debt capital and grant funds to fund their business goals and objectives. I've traveled extensively for business and pleasure in Southeast Asia (Philippines, Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia), Europe, and Latin America, learning about other languages and cultures.
I have a wonderful married daughter 32, who earned her PhD in Immunology at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis in June, 2006. Her husband earned his PhD in Immunology and his MD at the same time there, too. She passed the July 2010 California Bar Exam on her first try after earning her J.D. at the Santa Clara University Law School in Patent Law in May. She worked during the day for the last five years as a student associate at a premiere, intellectual property law firm and is now an Associate Attorney there. My son-in-law completed his Medical Residency at Stanford University Hospital and finished his Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Oncology/Hematology there, too. She is now a Bio-Science Patent Attorney prosecuting patents for the major pharmaceutical and bio-technology companies developing new medicines, while he is becoming an Oncologist destined for private practice. So, as you can see, I'm a very blessed dad and father-in-law! I graduated from UCLA with a degree in Mathematical Statistics.
I hope that we'll have a chance to connect shortly by phone and in person and have thoroughly amazing times together. I look forward to your response…
