Originally from Hong Kong, I have lived in the U.S. for almost 20 years now. After receiving my Ph.D. 4 years ago, I moved here to the SF Bay Area from the east coast and decided to settle down here. I now worked as a silicon chip designer in the south bay area. In terms of my personality, I have been told that I am easy going, very easy to talk to and get along with, down to earth, good hearted, patient, calm, detail oriented, responsible and supportive. I generally would consider myself a very happy person. I found that a happy life is achieved through a balance of social, career, physical and financial health. Activities that I enjoy include occasional skiing, hiking, camping, biking and sight-seeing trips, leisure travel (Hawaii and Europe are my next destinations), nature photography and try out new things – my first paint ball game is coming up. While in the Bay Area, I love sharing my time with friends and indulge in good conversations, but when I am at home, I enjoy reading on a variety of subjects, playing piano, watching DVDs (particularly good foreign movies), cooking and listening to music (easy listening, movie themes, Chinese, pop, symphonies, light jazz, etc.).I am mainly looking for friendship and as activities partner as a start. I prefer a person who is communicative, a person who is not afraid to express her feelings and opinions while being a good listener to others, good-hearted, easy going, cheerful and responsible. Hopefully, this is the first step in our long-term relationship.
