I'm reasonably fit and not too difficult on the eye or so I'm told.
Consider myself to be an honest, well rounded and balanced individual with a sense of humour (self deprecating) with a diverse range of interests including family, career, reading, music and home.
Have three wonderful grown up daughters who are making their way in the world of whom I'm very proud.
I enjoy reading, loved the Larrson trilogy, rediscovering the classics, Crime and Punishment etc as well biographies, autobiographies, time magazine and articles on the net (wonderful source of information).
Don't go to the movies as much as I would like, but enjoy watching anything with a good story line. Not into science fiction or horror movies.
Only TV I watch is generally ABC or SBS for the news, current affairs and documentaries.
Enjoy gardening and I am proud of what I have achieved. Recently refurbished by home, painting, wooden floors etc.
Have to confess that I work too hard (starting to cut back) but very fortunate that I enjoy my job.
My passion is music. Unashamedly, I'm a devotee of classic pop/rock or 'golden oldies' from ABBA to U2.
One of my all time favourite songs (amongst many) is 'Unchained Melody'.
What does that tell you? A romantic at heart or love big orchestral sounds?
Have a great belief in human nature and that most people want do the 'right' thing.
I respect the rights of others to be different. Integrity is high on my value of attributes.
Finally, I believe mutual attraction and common interests are important in any relationship and even believe in 'love at first sight'.
But, I also believe love can develop in a relationship between people from divergent backgrounds if they become friends. Why not take a chance, you just might be surprised?
