I am a 48 year women who loves life. People say my smile lights up a room I live alone with my 16 year old daughter who I adore. Although my disability has taken some of my independence I'd still say that is one of my greatest strengths. I am generous, kind, caring, determined, honest, methodical, and strong willed.
I have met a few cons on this site but their attempts have failed. So I will be frank. If your looking to con me for money or anything else it will not work so don't even try.
My mobility and speech impairments that became prominent over the past two years led me to leave my job one year ago on long term disability. This indeed was one of the most difficult happenings in my life because I was passionate about my 20 year career as an Executive Director and a public speaker/facilitator who traveled across Canada working with organizations and groups.
Because I am the type of person that likes to keep busy I continue to work on a volunteer basis writing funding proposals and mentoring Executive Directors. I enjoy silence and calmness but also like to have fun and laugh with friends. Because of my speech impairment verbal conversation is difficult if not impossible for me. However, I am a fantastic listener and use communication aides.
I am a bit of a home body but do enjoy travelling - love the sun - but my mobility challenge makes traveling harder to do. I love shopping, various foods, wines and dining. Especially desert--of course chocolate. I also enjoy concerts, broadway shows and listening to music - my favourite is easy listening and classic rock.
I am seeking friendship, companionship and if things unfold as they should then a long term relationship would be fantastic.
