I am active and athletic- I played soccer in college and started playing competitive ultimate frisbee about three years ago. I also love to watch sports and may surprise you with the random facts I know. While I love vegging out on the couch watching the game or getting dirty playing out on the field, I can "clean up" and like to dress up for a nice night out at a BYO.
I enjoy the arts- I take a pottery class and try to make it to the Philadelphia Orchestra once or twice a year. I sing too loudly while driving in the car and sometimes eat ice cream out of the carton- those are the confessions you'll get until you meet me...
People seem to think it is mature to be cynical and immature to be innocent. I am not ignorant to the ways of society. I simply chose to write my on script. To live an ethical life and to feel comfortable with oneself, it is necessary to achieve a degree of innocence. There is a kind of innocence that is both intelligent and worldly wise. Innocence, won only after years of struggle towards a deeply ethical life in a culture torn between naive ideals and cynical behavior, allows one to accept oneself absolutely, to forgive oneself and others for past ignorance and stupidity and to breathe peace. As Forrest Gump would say............ "I don't know if we each have a destiny, or if we're all just floatin' around accidental, like on a breeze.
