I'm a well-educated, "old fashioned" NICE guy. I look like I'm in my mid-50s, & feel like I'm still in my 30s. Age is just a number. I enjoy intelligent conversation, reading, crafts, music, arts, & restaurants from fine dining, to little hot dog shops. I'm not looking for marriage, or kids, just a good friendly relationship. My friends are EXTREMELY important to me, & that would of course include you. I can be romantic, very funny, playful & adventurous. Looking for that special someone with similar likes & qualities.
I'm an USAF veteran. I received my Masters in Library Science & worked as a Librarian/Research Assistant at UWM. I used to live in Sacramento, Calif. after being discharged from the USAF, & did my undergraduate A.A. degrees in General Humanities, & B.A. in english Literature Studies there.
I've traveled all over Europe for 6 months in 2004, the Midwest, & West Coast.
I read a LOT of Historical Fiction, especially the Medieval period, also the “Beat Generation” poets & authors.
I LOVE Blues music –Eric Clapton, Fabulous Thunderbirds, some Country & Bluegrass, Texas Conjunto music, Zydeco, New Flamenco, Folk music ( LOVE Bob Dylan), Rock-a-billy, 1950s rock & roll.
In a relationship I am looking for:
Honesty, loyalty, spontaneous, respectful, tolerant, similar interests & qualities, an animal lover ( although I don't own a pet), passionate about the things she cares most about in life.
If I had one wish, I would wish for:
Peace in this troubled world, & a super-nice lady to get to know well, with a “Heart of Gold”.
This makes me laugh:
Good funny stories, comedy, funny movies, George Carlin, Rodney Dangerfield, Mr. Bean, Monty Python, Robin Williams, Family Guy, The Simpsons, M.A.S.H.
Please describe your favorite pastime activities.
Going to car & motorcycle racing, reading, music, building scale model cars, photography, concerts. Whatever the lady would like to do.
How I like to spend my free time:
Reading, listening to Blues music, trying to learn to play my acoustic guitar, time with close friends, e-mailing each other, travel, photography. I could easily teach you how to use a 35mm digital camera Where I feel the most at home:
At a car or motorcycle race, Just relaxing, quiet nights of pleasant conversation, snuggling up, cuddling & more.
What I do not like:
Over-Aggressiveness, intolerance, dishonesty, unfaithfulness, "playing games " or “using me”, bossy people. “Gold-brickers”, overly nosey people. Women looking for a “Sugar Daddy, that really turns me off.
