Well I'm 52!
Yes I know "old"
Yet age is never to be counted by the years
It's what type of mind one has nurtured that matters
I guess …
Anyhow, to cut a long story short. I'm retired. Now residing in Lebanon> Worked abroad since 1992 - covering Middle East and Europe my wife and I are living separately. Agreed to divorce only after our kids move to Boston U.S.A - end Aug 2021.
Not sure what sort of relationship I'm looking for. I guess this is something that the person I meet will help me define. And I don't care what ever this so called "relationship" might evolve into. I just want to enjoy my "Golden Years". How? When? With who? - I have no idea. To me this is a discovery mission.
I took early retirement, cashed my end of service benefits and sold the shares I had in the Multinational Company that I served for decades - a US FMCG/Pharmaceuticals/Medical Equipment and Diagnostics "giant". My last role in the said company was managing their FMCG business in the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan.
So I'm somewhat comfortable financially. Living amidst a pine trees forest with my 4 dogs (Whisky - Golden Retriever, Vodka - Bichon, Tequila - Chihuahua & Gin - Jack Russell).
Around the house: I do nothing but care for my 4 dogs + 12 cats + 22 chicken, and water the gardens.
Out and about: I love to take rides and marvel at the beauty of this land, take short stops to buy bits & pieces only from tiny corner shops. Then conclude the day with a humble meal at the most humble restaurant I manage to discover hidden out there somewhere.
Had enough with cities, sophisticated human beings - you know what I mean, those that act it out so well to the point that they then believe it.
I now live in nature, nurturing animals & plants.
My best friends are now the pure, humble, down to earth lads that help me around the house and in the Olive, Figs and Grape fields.
I gave away all the brand names - those that branded me for god knows how long.
Now I brand myself as I wish - day by day.
