I am an American musician living in Vancouver for work. I don't know many people here at all and due to my work have little time to look for ladies "on the scene"... I am a guy who places great importance on living life to the fullest. I have happily changed careers several times and lived abroad for much of my adult life. I expect to be based in Van but traveling frequently for a year or two before relocating somewhere tropical and starting a new adventure, most likely including some adventure travel.
I am 45 years old but most people guess that I am in my thirties when they meet me. I attribute this to my active lifestyle and youthful pursuits (playing in a band, outdoor sports like whitewater kayaking, fitness, and never being married haha.. yes, observing friends who have married early, they aged and became sedentary a lot faster than I ever would accept)
Other hobbies include photography, dining out and trying ethnic foods, watching foreign films, cycling, and more)
I plan to make enough money at my current venture to retire at that tropical locale in the next 5 years or so, but am also not afraid if that doesn't play out as planned. I know I am an able bodied person and wherever I am or have been I have been able to earn well enough to afford a comfortable lifestyle.
Due to my current work in music, my lifestyle is a bit abnormal.. late hours performing, recording, rehearsing. Sleeping in late and spending afternoons on hobbies. So be prepared for a guy living outside the 9-5 routine.
My musical tastes? All over the place but I guess with an emphasis on pretty chill indie rock and electronic pop. There are certain times when nothing but classical will do though.
What makes me unique?? well I guess that's all pretty much what I have tried to explain above: a non-traditional lifestyle, a desire to travel and experience the world without conforming too much to any societal norms, the ability to adapt, and a keen curiosity to take off in new directions.
