I'm a compulsively self-doubting published author, with background in Psychology and english Literature; I was born and grew up in Tallinn and Riga, educated at Moscow and London Universities, taught English and American Lit in Britain and Israel, currently divide my time between Jerusalem, where I teach English at my own language school (using psycholinguistics, hypnosis and pop songs) and London where I've lived for 20 years and continue spending summers seeing friends and writing books. My interests are cultural: the Arts; likewise Nature. I walk, jog, hike and take pictures, especially of the natural world. But on the whole I'm urban and nature in a green city is enough for me. I love animals, cats and dogs in particular and do little things for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals when in London and Jerusalem Cats when in Israel. Culturally I'm a weird mix: Baltic, English russian jewish agnostic).
