Ok, so have been out of the dating scene for while, but that was by choice. Now that I want to date, I have no idea how to go about it. Funny huh!! So here I am.
I am really laid back and I don't get upset very easily. I pride myself on having an open mind and not judging other people. I am a member of a meet friends group that regularly hikes social events, bike rides, and anything that we can do that is fun. Also, during the summer I like to find time for camping,canoeing, and road trips.But I also like to go out and enjoy a night out on the town. I like to travel and try new things. Like I said I can have fun doing anything
I like movies even bad ones for a good laugh. I have been hiking allot lately and seem to be getting fitter. Recently have decided I like a somewhat healthy lifestyle. I am happy to do energetic things and love the beach and out doors in general. Also can be happy just couch bound watching a DVD as well though. One day when I am much older my dream is to retire and sail around the world.I put myself as a non smoker because I have quit but I have been known to slip up if I am with other smokers and have had a few drinks.
As I said I am just getting back into wanting to date again. I am not very good at chatting because my typing is slow compared to most. I am on Fbook though and would be open to PM ing. My daughter would laugh if she new I new what a PM was. LOL. To be fair I am not really interested in casual dating..... Yes Lady's that is a real life hetro sexual Man that said that. LOL.
I have only a few close friends.. you know the ones you would do anything for... but allot of acquaintances. In saying that if I ever went to jail I have plenty of people that would bail me out and plenty that I would bail out. My friends would probably describe me as happy go lucky.
I have two kids that live with my ex and don't want to have anymore of my own. Id be happy to be a male role model for a new partner that already had kids though. Most of my family is all back in the states so I only keep in contact through email and skype.
I think of myself as somewhat of a romantic. When things happen I imagine myself old and telling my grandkids one day. I know its kind of corny but hey that's me.
I like all kinds of music and enjoy a good concert either at a pub or a larger venue.
If I have any bad qualities it is probably that I am impatient. I can never wait till a TV show that I like comes on here in NZ I will watch it online when it first comes out.
