I have lived in many places and seen many things in my life. Most importantly I was raised by wonderful parents and often we visited relatives at my grandparents homes on the weekend as I was growing up. This instilled in me and my brother the importance of family.
I have attended many universities and worked as a programmer and as a teacher. I love children and nature. I enjoy walks and photography is my hobby. When I worked as professional photographer, I took pictures of models and dancers for their portfolios. I enjoyed the art of figure photography, especially the challenges of using available light in natural settings. I enjoy good music, the fine arts, good movies without violence, good conversation, and reading. I am a patient person and almost never get angry. I am not a controlling person and very attentive to you. I feel myself waiting to understand the future of the earth. It is more like feeling and listening to nature and what changes are happening. Also, I enjoy learning about alternative medicine with herbs and other methods used to heal people. I do not think of myself as a scholar, but perhaps that is part of the way I can be described.
The simplest things in life give me the greatest pleasure. I especially like nature and the earth. Just smelling flowers and watching the beauty of butterflies brings happiness. Even watching an insect crawl along the ground is interesting to me. One day, I walked in the park near the apartment where I live and a flock of pigeons engulfed me as they flew past. It is remarkable how they did that without hitting me. I enjoy the birds, ducks, and geese that are always there as the climate here stays warm and it is usually sunny almost every day with a blue sky. Recently, I was watching some white fluffy cumulus clouds while they changed from people or animals as they floated in the sky. Again bringing back many memories of my childhood. When I do this, I begin to wonder about how things were for you when you grew up. I hope you will tell me some of your experiences.
I want to share a moment I noticed when I went to the library to have my paper work done for my taxes. As I was waiting, I saw this couple sitting nearby. I will try to describe the scene which would have made a great picture. Sometimes, it is interesting to view situations as if with a camera. Her chair was turned facing him at his side. She had a smile on her face and her eyes were glistening as she looked into his whole being. Only a hand's distance separated them. Her right hand rested on his inner thigh and her other arm was around his shoulder. Although years separated their ages, her love for him filled the whole room I imagined how wonderful it would be to have someone love me as she must love him. Then, my thoughts took flight and I wondered how long would such love last and I hoped forever.
This is the type of love I am seeking and would share with you. I can not give you riches or diamonds, but I can give you kindness and understanding.
