Hi, My name is Steve. I have lived in the UK in the past, and would like to meet some people.

I am a nice guy, I am really into cars and music. My ideal match is someone that can tolerate this, and maybe have similar interest. I would like someone who is independent and don't need to be emotionally babied. That may sound crude, but in essence what I am saying is, I HATE drama We all have our share, some more than others, but there is such a thing as having too much. I tend to steer clear of such. I am also really into family, I am a family person. My soical life at this moment is basically non-exsistant. I go out every now and then, but with friends. I like someone who can deal with sitting home on the sofa and curling up and watching a good movie. Music is my passion. I love it. I like, rock, metal, classical, country, bluegrass, broadway, and alternative. I detest hip-hop and rap. I am a law enforcement officer, and I take offense in lyrics chanting that people want to shoot or "pop a cap" in me....lol. With me comes a band and obligations. I play in several bands, and I am in the studio alot. So I need someone who can understand that and be able to accept that. That's not saying that I would not include that person in these things, I would be over the moon if they embraced that. Now, with that being said, it is not a one way street...I want to be involved in their interests as well. I mean, whats the use of being with someone, if you don't share common interests?

I enjoy making my own wine at home. Mostly reds and dessert wines.

I am pretty good at fixing cars, mostly BMWs and Jags.

I love to travel.

I love the North Carolina mountains!

I like history and currently a student pilot for fixed wing aircraft.

I also enjoy a bout fencing every now and again.

I enjoy SCUBA diving, and spear fishing.

I like to metal detect...(Showing my age now...lol)

I play guitar and bass.

I run a small recording studio in my home.

I like working on cars and boats, I am pretty good with my hands. I like fixing and repairing things.

I also enjoy surfing.
