These days, more or less retired, I have two preoccupations in life: my granddaughter and my Substack. The later is a bit cerebral, definitely not everyone's taste, but maybe it's yours. If so, we should definitely meet. I'll add the link at the bottom. (Whoops, apparently they don't allow links in the self description.)
Somewhat cerebral. Over recent years have taken deep dives down the rabbit holes of evolutionary biology, history of law, and currently into exploring medieval and early modern corporate pluralism. (Bonus points if that means something intelligible to you!) I've many self-published books as well as the aforementioned Substack, where I record my research findings for posterity. Just in case posterity might be interested.
I have a fondness for old movies (basically anything from the 20th century). I'm considerably more selective about those made in the 21st century.
For those who understand such things, I'm high in both openness and conscientiousness, which means I can usually see both sides of hard and complicated questions. However, being somewhat low in agreeableness I'm more included to use my superpower to question than accommodate. That may be a virtue or a vice, depending on one's perspective.
I prefer more Rubenesque women. I wouldn't say it's an absolute dealbreaker if the compatibility and chemistry is otherwise great. But it's definitely the tie-breaker.
