My personality depends on the surroundings. If in a new setting, especially when I don't know a lot of people, I am very quiet. Around friends I can get boisterous. I have a good sense of humor, though it tends to be on the sarcastic side. I am a night owl, going to bed at 3am. I am generally easy going, calm and polite. I love to joke around and try to find humor in almost everything. However, I am also very responsible and trustworthy with the things that require it, such as work, financial and family matters. I have a very analytical mind that has allowed me to excel at my chosen profession of software engineering. For that work, I have a Masters Degree in Computer Science.

I grew up in rural Virginia. I much prefer the quiet, private life of the country over living in a city. I currently live in Colorado but am preparing to move to Alaska for a new job. I do not like the noise and congestion of cities. I prefer to be able to spend time outdoors with my animals without having to worry about them getting hit by a car. I have a dog and 2 cats. I like the calm, peacefulness of living in the woods. A great evening would be sitting outside with you and my dog, listening to the nightlife and actually being able to see the stars. Plus, I want room for a swimming pool. I prefer evenings at home compared to going out to restaurants and bars.
