I do not see values as the amount of fame someone has, money in their pocket, or amount of degrees under their hat. Don't get me wrong, education is very important, but it's what you learn from it and how you apply it to your life. It's not just about being book smart, It is how you treat the people around you, not just the ones you want to impress.
There is more to life than social stature. It is about love caring, selflessness, and respect. It's about sharing, helping others when they need a helping hand, and always being there for the ones you love.
I value others opinions and cherish those close to me, and will always remind them just how important they are to me for they always come first.
"The ultimate measure of man/women is not where they stand in moments of comfort and convenience, but where they stand at times of challenge and controversy."
- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
