Ultimately I'm looking for someone who will putter around the garden and listen to public radio while drinking ovaltine with me when I'm 90. But for now an excellent travel companion will do. I work in a far away place most of the year. But when I'm not working, I'm traveling. It would be swell to share the experience with someone.
A few things about me:
I'm reasonably health conscious, both in terms of fitness and diet, but I try not to be a d!ck about it.
I'm a bit of a foodie; balsamic vinegar, olive tapenade, and really old crumbly cheddar are some of my favourite things, among many others.
I'm very organized and value punctuality, reliability, directness.
I'm kind of an old soul, apparently. I'm into history and people and places with eventful pasts.
On work days, my favourite time of the day tends to be the last hour or so before going to bed when I can read (generally non-fiction) or listen to an episode of 'Radiolab'.
I value humour a lot; so much so that it feels kind of lame and inadequate to simply say that I value it "a lot".
