I am an independent-minded, quiet, introverted, intelligent, witty, philosophical, 45 year old male. I am university educated in the sciences and work in Information Technology.  I believe strongly in personal freedom and responsibility and have high expectations of myself and others who are close to me.  I have been described by others as aloof, frank, astute, critical, empirical, tough, discerning, skeptical and shrewd.  I describe myself as principled, reserved, sensitive, shy, honest, loyal, and funny; a scholar and a gentleman who is also a dependable, responsible rogue, curious about life and young at heart.  I do not like crowds of people but can communicate very well with my close friends.  I can be both serious when necessary, but know how to enjoy myself as I am never bored with life. I enjoy reading science; out-door recreation such as boating and fishing, and playing guitar.  I like the solitude of nature and prefer to live away from large cities.  I have a cat for company.

I am looking for a college educated, adventurous, woman who is fluent in english and does not have children nor wants children.
