Hi, thanks for taking time to read this. I'll make it as brief but as informative as I can. I'm 39 (40 very soon), I'm a writer and I have a 10 year old son by a previous relationship. I'm a creative type, have written and recorded songs, write poetry, short stories, novels etc. It hasn't paid too well as yet but it's what I love to do and I remain hopeful. I like reading, writing, movies, socialising, spending time with my family, music, art, philosophy, history and walking. I'm easy going, good natured, polite, intelligent, up for a laugh and enjoy conversation.
I'm not really a knight in shining armour, more the sort of bloke that's had to put the armour on coz the usual guy has got ill and no-one else will do it but all I've done the whole time while they've been fastening the armour to me is whinge that it chafes or it's too tight, and it's heavy and it's hot. However, now I've got it on, I'm determined to go out there and slay some shit, rescue the chick and live happily ever after. I suppose you could say I'm a reluctant hero. Like Shrek. Not as green or as ugly though.
I'm open minded and loyal, honest and reliable. I'm not the worlds most attractive man and I'm not looking for an Abbey Clancy. I like to find out about people from the inside. I know it say's on my profile that I won't date larger ladies but that's just because I don't particularly fancy larger ladies. You've gotta be attracted to someone in the first place, right?
I like confident ladies but not the ones that just cover themselves with pointless tattoo's to compensate or rather demonstrate, how in-yer-face they are. I like a lady to be a lady. Not particularly submissive or withdrawn, just nice and pleasant and lovely. A conversation about something relevant would be nice, even if that's just how your day's been or what you have planned for the weekend or something. I want to share my life with someone special and I want them to be able to do the same. Not a lot to ask is it?
