There is nothing I dislike more than the "About Me" section of anything. However, I suppose in this situation it is a necessary evil. Human nature dictates that we all crave companionship and nobody likes to be alone I am here because I am looking for a GENTLEMAN to build a long term relationship with.

I am pretty established in my career; I have been working in long term care for about five years now and I love my job. There is something deeply satisfying about bringing a smile to an elderly persons face and being a support for someone in need.

Family is important to me and so is being surrounded by a positive circle of friends. I am a very social person but at the end of the day I have learned it is better to be surrounded by a few close friends who you consider like family than a bunch of so-so friends.

I have an excellent sense of humor and it is important for me to be with someone I can laugh with and who can make me laugh. I also enjoy reading, long distance walking, documentaries, foreign films, good conversation, occassional blogging, listening to music, journal entries...

That about covers the basics I think...
