The most important thing I want you to know about me is that I've grown so much in the last few years. It's my firm belief, and my daily practice, to deepen my heart and my wisdom – as this is the core both of happiness and love. Where once I saw things with a more closed eye, I now see both the present and the future as a bright light of possibility and joy. This disciplined way of approaching life when I set my mind to something, it gets done.
Like many of us – probably like you – life has thrown hardships my way in the past, and the process of turning those events into a deeper heart, resilience, and kindness has made it all worth it. If you're my girl then you love the outdoors as much as I do – and jump at the chance (when the weather is good) to get out camping, hiking and enjoying this beautiful land we live in.
One of my goals is to learn kayaking next summer. In winter, I enjoy being outside, and if you know cross country skiing, maybe you can teach me a thing or two.
Family is important to me, we are there for each other, when we need it and even when we don't. One of my happiest memories will always be my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary – 47 adults, 23 kids – and providence gave me a huge win in a casino I wandered into – and I was able – and happy – to pay for the whole celebration. It was my honor and my privilege and in my speech, I reminded them all, “I am always just a call away for all of you if you are need me or just want to reach out and connect.”
I have broad tastes in film and music. Recently, I've been reading a lot on how to create a true and lasting love relationship (which is why I have joined this site!) – I've been enjoying David Deida's "Way of the Superior Man' and "Mars and Venus " by John Grey - -which is endlessly fascinating on how men and women process information differently! Everyone should read this one for fun I read Star Wars novels.
I want you to know that the kid in me is still alive and I will adore the kid in you. So many people lose the joy of being playful when they get “serious” and “grown up.” You and I will enjoy an active imagination and playfulness – which of course helps anyone get through the winter!
Please, if my words resonate with you feel free to reach out and say hi. I'll be happy to write back and we can explore further. We are here for the big game – love. Let's do this thing!
