It feels awkward to me to describe oneself. Permanent resident since 20 years, I am from a European country. At 67, in pretty good shape, I still work (have my own company), and love what I do. I am also a dancer. My passion: Argentine Tango. But also Bachata, Kizomba, some ballroom (rumba, chacha, east coast swing…). I dance almost every night. Further my Ex's and friends all always tell how kind, helpful, romantic, giving, trustworthy, reliable, faithful… what a great guy… I am. Don't believe them, I'm a knucklehead who does what he wants. Further you will have to test yourself.
One way to learn about me is to read the poem The Invitation, by Oriah.
What I am looking for: a partner, for dancing mostly, going out (a movie, theater, opera, concert, musea…), and other activities… Someone who is open minded, willing to try things, share life. Occasionally I travel (just back from a cruise, next will be a tango festival). Love to cook. Mostly love to live.
Body wise I hate myself: Am overweight a constant struggle. Watching carefully what I eat, going to the gym, and so on. Very strong, but still too heavy. And am attracted to skinny ladies, open minded, without lists of don'ts.
To come back to the poem, I am looking for a soul mate someone I can stand with in the center of the fire, that I can stand for. Someone who will see I do not shrink back, who will see me at the edge of the lake, shouting “Yes”, someone who will, with me,
Dance like there's nobody watching,
Love like you'll never be hurt,
Sing like there's nobody listening,
And live like it's heaven on earth.
