For it is not the bright arrival planned
But in the journeying along the way
We find the Golden Road to Samarkand.
No trump voters--at all. You voted to kill Medicare and social Security. Don't pretend otherwise.
"Let us leave a splendid legacy for our children...let us turn to them and say, this you inherit: guard it well, for it is far more precious than money...and once destroyed, nature's beauty cannot be repurchased at any price."
~ Ansel Adams
I lived in Colorado for 30 years before moving to Alaska for five years. Now located in Fort Collins. Sort of retired, though I do photography contracts.
I played rugby for 25 years, then refereed and coached. I sometimes watch it, but I'm not much of a spectator, would rather be doing than watching.
A happy guy, most of the time. I have a sense of humor that serves my simple purposes, you'll have to judge for yourself.
Lived in many places in the US and also in Toronto--great city--as well as seven years in Brussels, Belgium. Liked most places; I can always find the positives in a new place.
A professional photographer, sometimes full time, mostly part time. I still use film for some projects and my 4x5 camera Many jobs in my life: worked at the place that made Etch-a-Sketch, road construction, candy factory, blast furnace worker at a steel mill, drove a truck in Israel, hotel clerk in Athens, Greece, tintype photographer, photojournalist, printer, college history professor and historic preservationist--mostly an architectural historian. Must be others I'm not remembering. Oh yeah, briefly a professional frisbee player!
My dream job: Issuer of Artistic Licenses and Administrator of Poetic Justice.
My dream lady is intelligent, well read, active, has some sort of sense of humor. Outdoorsy definitely. I don't care about makeup or heels--at the same time, whatever you want to wear. I would describe myself as a feminist, or maybe better would be humanist. All people should have equal rights, including being free from any kind of harassment. I have many women friends and have coached women's rugby--one team to Sweet Sixteens.
