Widower 10yrs as of Dec 2023, finally transitioning to a new life after being defeated by depression for years, and left with the 'I don't care' mess from the old self from those times. Friendly, communicative, good sense of humor, respectful, loyal to my friends, honest, trustworthy, trusting, decent gentleman. Working hard to shed a lot of weight gained, long way to go still, but adding other parts of life back again will help with incentivised encouragement to help. Looking for female friendships, communication, potentially company for casual meetings for 'coffee/tea' in public or in home, conversation, email, text, eventually a walking-strolling companion to meet at the parks, etc looking for friendship not casual friend (Dead serious!). I enjoy email chat communication with distant folks, not just in-my-town folks required, but the potential for actually meeting in person one day for visits, meals, shared activity should exist, ie an hour drive vs across the province.
NOT A DOG PERSON - I don't like dogs, dogs sense that, don't like me either. I don't mind if you have dogs, but, I would not be comfortable visiting you at your home with dogs present, or having dogs join us on park-walks, etc. Cats? Nice. If your pets are Snakes, Lizards, or Tarantulas see DOG above.
