The start of another new year is upon us so I though why not give this a go! My favourite pass time is to stroll around the countryside and perhaps at weekends go to country show, fete's, walk around villages, just enjoy what this country has to offer. Anyway what am I rambling on about … I suppose as I've done all the caromg I need to do for my dependents … now its my time … and this year I hope to find someone who has the same sort of interests/outlook to share that time with me.
My working class background and my profession has shown me both sides of life … I can communicate with all class types confidently and comfortably. I'm university educated, self employed until recently, solvent, very down to earth … very honest, straight forward, uncomplicated, trustworthy, what you see is what you get and can't do with people who are ‘up themselves' although sometimes find this is a front.
Anyway I'm new to this so lets start with what I look like, I don't think I'm unattractive and have a trim figure, light brown blonde bits modern haircut, sophisticated dress when I go out to a posh do or to work ... but lots of the time I dress smart casual. Although I am now 62 (cant believe I'm 62) anyway my business related on me relating to the 25-35 age group - and it was very successful – that's because I think I'm only in my 30's!! (don't tell anyone!) where's the time gone!
I was bought up to believe beauty is only skin deep … real beauty is within the person … (good job at our age!) … the more important qualitities are sincerity, genuineness, honesty, caring etc., in saying that everyone needs to feel some physical attraction, I suppose you feel it or you don't when you meet!
My interests are varied from quite sophisticated pursuits to spending my free days doing manual physical jobs and I'm a bit of a wheeler and dealer as well! Mostly though I value the simple things in life good conversation, strolling in all weathers, I'm not one that would want to go to theatres, restaurants etc., regularly … perhaps as a treat … pubs don't interest me … but its not that I don't drink … I normally have a drink in an evening when I switch off. I will have a go at anything and enjoy a challenge for example last year I helped a friend out and showed Belgian Blue's (bulls) at the Warwickshire Country Fair - leading them around the arena, jet washing them and backcombing their tails ... no I'm not a 'nutter' it's true ... mind you to be honest I felt sorry for the bull although he seemed quite happy.
Anyway enough waffle if you want to know anymore and you feel we have similar outlooks on life please contact me.
As the clichй goes life's too short … don't waste another new year(we ain't got that many left)!
