Hi I am of Maltese/American heritage and have lived in a number of countries working within the Airlines industry mainly in the US and latterly and before Covid at Manchester airport. I was made redundant in 2020. I wanted the opportunity to travel to Europe, I bought a motor home and travelled around Europe mainly to France, Italy, Spain. I unfortunately got my motor home stolen whilst parked overnight in a Northern Spain camping site and literally became homeless, as everything I owned was in my motorhome, I was left with only the clothes I was wearing, fortunately, I had my passport, bank cards and some cash, so I was able to get myself back to the UK and stayed with a friend for a couple of weeks in Manchester. I decided to move to Preston, as property rentals are considerably cheaper and I believe Preston to be a safer area to reside. I managed to get myself a very nice apartment on the Docklands, Riversway development, where I am now beginning to get myself established and looking to make new friends. I have never been on a site like this before, so I am new to this, so you may have to bear with me. I enjoy travelling social drinking, watching movies and generally socialising. I am not into social media and tend to be a private person, and would wish to meet with similar minded persons, I am fairly young minded person, not financially to well off, however, I do own a car, which enables me to do some limited travelling, mainly in the UK, as Petrol is so expensive nowadays, but I would be willing to travel to Europe with someone who is willing to share costs. I am not a smoker and ideally would prefer to meet up with a non smoker, I am a very clean and tidy person, who is always willing to compromise on all things. I am not a controlling person, and enjoy a hetrosexual life style, with no hang ups. I am open to all sector of friendships and look forward to hearing from anyone, initially by cell phone or emailings.
