Martel Childs/Smith also known as Tha Clown . Is a American independent rap artist from Banks Arkansas. He was born September 28th 1991 in Warren Arkansas. His mother is Louise Childs/Jackson from Banks Arkansas. His father is Charlie Dean Smith of Fordyce Arkansas. At the age of 9 he was inspired by rap artists 50 Cent, Ludacris and Cassidy. He spent numerous years living in what he calls the system in and out foster homes. At the age 16 he began recording music with his cousin who was only 13 at the time Maurice Washington also known as Reece. the two of them together managed to put together their first mixtape called Reece Da Beast and KJ tha boss. the two recorded and made low-budget mixtape together for over 4 years they received a lot of recognition for their talent in their hometown and other surrounding towns. At the age of 21 Martel begin his solo career and was not successful I'm getting signed to a major or Independent Record label. At the age 23 Martel hooked up with recording artist and CEO. D.Woods Who is the sister of Young Money Entertainment recording artist Shanell on a website called blazetrak.com. D.Woods coached him and gave him advice for over 2 years on how to be a successful recording artist. At the age of 26 Martel is still currently active with his career. As a independent rap artist and has yet to sign a major or Independent Record Deal. He said his goal is not to be A famous rapper or be labeled as the greatest rapper. He said he simply wants to be a great motivational speaker through his music.
