I am from Moscow & I leave in Crete about 10 years. To come here without knowing anybody, without any support –it was big challenge for me… But I have strong character, I tried a lot of professions in Crete, and had my own shop with painted by me cloth, pictures, and scarfs and so on (I am professional designer & painter). Any way, it is a long story… I love Cretan nature, adore sea & climate, but mentality of locals is very different for me, it is difficult to build relations… It is wonderful in summer here, but in winter, when all tourists are leaving, island looking pretty dead, & nothing happening around, no job & everything is closed around. I did not mind it before, because I like to stay home, to read, to paint & cook, only 1 problem: I don't have here for whom to cook . I have son 17 years old he studies in Moscow now, (but unfortunately because of a lot of reasons I can't leave there). I will come in California in January, and I hope I will meet a men who will appreciates to be with gentle and caring woman, with whom you can share joy and sorrow, be friends have fun Sensory yours, Maria.
