I would describe myself as bright, honest, responsible and with a good sense of humour and fun. I like the idea of meeting my soul mate a good relationship helps us to thrive (well that's what I think!). I am attractive but definitely agree that beauty comes also from within. Loyalty and kindness are high on the list of life's necessities.
I'm good company and faithful, and it would be great to meet someone who has space in his life to share with the right woman. Would have to be a long-term, one-woman-man, otherwise it wouldn't be worth it. I think I'm a blend of elegance mixed with down-to-earth - I don't mind getting my hands dirty!
I'm artistic and creative (always seem to be creating something, designing and renovating). I enjoy historical buildings and architecture, gardening and watching a garden take shape, and my home is very important to me. I love walking, especially by the water (rivers and lakes, not just the ocean!), and would like to travel, anywhere that's interesting, with the right person My sons have grown and flown, and I'm happy to relocate for the right person. I've lived in Australia a long time, and would welcome the idea of being able to travel to Europe and England (I also speak some French). I have lived and worked in the US (Texas and Florida) previously. I love going to new places - actually, it's good to go anywhere if you're with the right person - even 5 star luxury would be wasted if we weren't with the 'right' one!
