Calling gentlemen of the Isle of Man, and yes, I do mean I'm looking to meet a gentle man, someone with good manners, without bad or foul language but who enjoys heartfelt fun and honesty - as this describes who I am too!
The option of 'soon to be divorced wasn't available, but after being on my own for two and a half years, we are in the final stages and have agreed terms, therefore I expect to be finally divorced within the next two months.
Again, as far as the options were concerned, I'm happy to meet a chap from anywhere on island, as we all know - should we drive for more than forty minutes - we'll fall overboard!
I take the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors and all this amazing isle has to offer. I enjoy nights out to the cinema, theatre, restaurant. And again, like most others, enjoy those cosy nights by the fire.
My nineteen year old son came home from university after six months not knowing what it is he wants to do, and thankfully choses to live with his dear old mom rather than his Father - speaks volumes! He's already found work and looking at this as a gap year until he decides what it is he really wants to do in life.
I've always been involved in sport in one way or another. Until the age of forty I was kept busy swimming, diving (springboard) squash, badminton and some triathlons too. Now I still have a lot of friends busy in sport and I join them on occasions.
I love nothing more than a good old giggle, political satire and joviality in general. I'm quite recently retired and loving the freedom which that brings.
