Being open and genuine are important qualities to me.I have a great career but still have plenty of time for a relationship. I am a true "empty nester" at this point in my life and am open to all the possibilities that the future offers. As I grow older and much wiser, I think less about the things that I cannot change and more about how I can make a difference. After all it really is in the small gestures that sometimes can have the greatest effect. I am thankful for having an education which has given me tools to be productive in this life. Traveling to different parts of the world has given me a different perspective on what really matters. I work in healthcare which often brings great satisfaction when you know that you have connected with someone and made a difference in their life. I feel very lucky to have had so many opportunities to witness some of life's mysteries.I have found great joy in being a dad. Being in nature grounds me and makes me feel alive, love the change of seasons,swimming in the ocean, playing in the garden and walking in the woods. I feel like my day is not complete without physical exercise.Music, movies,reading and deep connection are what I am interested in.I consider myself curious and not afraid to try new things. I enjoy the cities but prefer to live in the country. I would much rather wake up to the sound of birds or the ocean that the sounds of traffic and sirens. I would love to find a man that I could share my life with. Let's be silly together. Lets laugh, banter, dance, and write poetry for each other.Lets cook and play and have an intimate connection that lasts for the rest of our lives. Travel and explore.If you don' believe that the world needs a kinder and gentler approach, we probably wouldn't get a long. I am a lover not a fighter.
