Born and raised in Sri Lanka, I have been living separately in the Western Hemisphere for a long time. Over the years, I have contemplated filing for divorce but for reasons of being there for the children and the difficulties in the divorce process here, I have been deterred from pursuing that path to completion. I have no driving desire now for that path as I am content in my life to enjoy the rest of my life retired, travelling the world and meeting people.
