I'm short, dark and handsome - so, 2/3 of the majority of women's 'Most Wanted' isn't too bad; well, make it 1/3 as my curls are going grey now (but, thankfully, not bald!).
I am happy, well-educated, intelligent, and with a good sense of humour. Love classical music (playing and listening), the arts generally, and animals/wildlife. Love the outdoors, but just as happy sitting at home. I hate wasting life in front of the tv, but I do enjoy some programmes.
I am a former officer, but remain a gentleman - I prefer good manners. Have no time for attention-seekers drama queens, new age nonsense or extreme religious views; but I do regard myself as somewhat spiritual and sensitive.
I like creative, happy, and kind people. I really do not like the culture of pubs/bars - but will go in occasionally with the right person; but it's not really my thing.
I am mainly retired; but have my own business that I work at part-time, and I do some creative stuff as a dilettante. Will tell you more when we get to know one another.
Miss my beautiful wife so have a hole in my life that needs filling with someone equally unafraid to show affection.
Don't want much, do I? But there again, I am not desperate and would rather not bother unless it is the right person. I do not like the 'dating scene' as I really cannot be bothered with it all. Just want a like-minded soul mate I had one.... is there another out there? Probably not - but I'm willing to try. Just be gentle.
