Hello! :O)
John here! I live right by the beach in a peaceful area just outside Skegness. It's a bit lonely living alone, but it's nie to watch the sun and the moon rise over the sea and I find it so relaxing to hear the sound of the waves crashing ashore while I sleep.
What do I want? It's simple! I am looking for a loving and lasting relationship. I am a caring, loyal and affectionate male who enjoys the simpler things in life. I am quite adventurous in some ways, but I am equally at home just sat in front of the TV watching a good film. Like many other people - I am quite into watching boxed sets lately.
A meet up and a chat seems a good way to start and preferable over endless texting Sorry, I hate that, but of course it's a good place to start. A permanent relationship is definitely my goal. Isn't it for most people? You know if that spark is there almost straight away ... but no pressures.
I am 100% genuine in my desire to find a long-term relationship, maybe marriage Life is too short. I am quite a romantic at heart. I am considered easy to get on with. I pass in a crowd. I am 5'9" in height and have a slim/average build.
I don't have many photographs of myself, so I hope the few that I have attached to my profile will suffice. They are all very recent / up-to-date. I am told that I am very easy to get on with. I am a good listener.
I love walks in the countryside and cycling too - something I haven't done much of recently. I love good conversation. There's also something magical about enjoying a good coffee. Why is that? The simpler things in life are the most enjoyable and often overlooked. I am also a bit of a 'techie'.
I used to holiday abroad quite a lot, but my preference is to drive to places. The USA and western Europe are my favourites. I love France, particularly Brittany, which I have visited several times. I find Italy an interesting place to visit too, but I would love to explore more new places. Road trips are great fun. You see so much more than you would ever see if you flew.
I run a small business, which may not be quite as grand as it sounds, but it keeps me going and it's growing all the time. One thing I hope might happen is that I may find somebody to who would like to be part of this.
In the past I have worked as a producer in the music industry for a well known 80s outfit and I also worked in the telecoms industry for a number of years.
I have a car and don't mind travelling to meet somebody. In fact I have been wondering about moving to a larger area. Somewhere with a bit more 'go' in it. Skegness is great, but can be a little restrictive in some ways.
Well, that's quite an essay! I hope you are still with me ;O)
Hopefully we will be lucky! :O)
Wishing you all the best.
x John
