I have a mind that’s as complex and analytical as they come, so broad variable questions sometimes require more than just a single definite answer…
But I’m also the sort of person who appreciates simple answers to simple questions, and I believe that basic communication in any relationship should be strait forward and simple…
Don’t get me wrong, deep meaningful relationships aren’t always a walk in the park, but I believe that the basic building blocks that they’re built on are as simple as the first ever numbers you learn as a child, usually being 1 2 & 3, (actually I always started with a zero, but I’m anything but normal, LoL!)
Anyways, I believe that honestly is the most important and should come first because it’s the foundation of which trust is based and built on, with trust comes respect, and when you respect someone enough, you show a certain level of loyalty to them…
Now, you can respect a person without necessarily have to be loyal to them, but if we take any one of the first three away, what happens? It’s simple, it will either cause damage or it all just crumbles and falls to pieces!
What comes next is where things start to get a little tricky and sometimes misunderstood, but the same basic principle applies as above…
When two people have a honest, trustworthy relationship that displays a level of respect for one another that their loyalty belongs only to each other, and are both comfortable enough to be able to look so deep into their partners eyes that they become a window to their souls, this is my interpretation/understanding of what is referred to as true love, and obviously I understand there are other variables involved, but as I said before, if any of the fundamentals are altered or removed, things can get messy!
Please feel free to correct me if I’m wrong or have left something out, it might explain why I’m single, maybe? LmFaO!!
