Someone who realizes that he who has the most toys does not necessarily win. Kind, patient, a great role model for my son, willing to share his life with many animals. A fella who has taken the time to genuinely know himself and is happy enough with that discovery that he is willing to be completely upfront.
Ideally, the right guy for me would be a 'McGyver' type and intrigued by the whole idea of living off-grid.
Canadian homesteader wanted! As I am not in a position to relocate please only contact me if you live in Canada, optimally Nova Scotia.
I am definitely not your typical female, in that I am presently working on my 4th house build (and by that I actually mean using the power tools). This time round I decided to remove myself from the dependence on big business so our power comes from a few solar panels and a small windmill that apparently needs tweaking (anyone savvy about wind energy???).
I share my world with my son and many four legged animals, therefore there is always something to be done. Sadly, I don't have the energy that I did when I was even in my 30's, but I still tuck in and work hard most of the time and would certainly appreciate someone who might enjoy the same type of activity.
Not that I don't enjoy dressing up and going out once in awhile, but overall I am trying to make it clear that I am not the perfect hair, perfect nails and high heeled shoes type. Not that there is anything wrong with those choices, simply that they wouldn't work in my world.
