I am a vertically challenged man (5'6" and comfortable with my height)who despite having a few extra pounds is physically fit and runs 10 to 20 miles a week. Through the years I have participated in half and full marathons as well as ultra races and triathlons. I wake early each morning and seldom ever sleep-in choosing to spend my weekend mornings enjoying the weather while biking, running, swimming etc. An independent man I do my own laundry, kids laundry, can cook, and sorta keep my house clean. My beautiful twin girls are nearly adults and my ex wife has never been a complication (baggage) in the past 7 years.
What I would bring into a relationship is based under certain truths; I am man who does not want or need a wife mother care giver. Would enjoy spending quiet evenings walking hand in hand through the park, afternoons riding bike, picnics, or just conversing by a fireplace/fire pit. I would be willing to let you win at crib and make you smile. How about peaceful lazy afternoons of laying beside someone in comfortable silence just reading a book? I am a man who can waltz and 2-step yet still go outside and build a deck, shingle a roof, and swill beer.
What kind of woman am I looking for? After 7 years of being single I have met many women and I have to say that I am looking for someone who is happy, pleasant and makes me feel comfortable around her. They say the best person is the person who makes you feel good when you are with them. Of course physical attraction is important but it is not everything. I have never been one to covet a barbie doll with perfect hair and too much make-up. My laid back, quick to tease and play rural Saskatchewan roots have turned away the heads of prissy city girls who are unable to tolerate my rough edges.
If you are still reading this far into my profile then I am impressed.
